Brand: Audi
The Audi team I led at Ogilvy Cape Town developed integrated work across multiple channels, including the brand's main website and other digital platforms. We developed original creative but also leveraged existing global and regional assets.
Our partnership with Audi South Africa helped establish Audi as an independent Premium Brand, distinct from its parent company VW, and capable of competing with the other two German Automotive global power houses (Mercedes Benz and BMW). Audi managed to close the market share gap on its competitors and ultimately pose a threat to their long-term dominance in the country.
The body of work received multiple local awards in creativity and effectiveness (Loeries Creativity, Bookmarks Digital, Apex Effectiveness, Assegai Direct Marketing) as well as international recognition (shortlisted in Cannes.)
